Google RealTime Search – Relevant Keyword Content By The Minute!

Google’s announcement that they will now include RealTime Search results based upon time/date relevancy of the user’s enquiry means that these will be the vital ingredients to getting your content found.

The bar has just been raised! Online marketing strategies will just have to get that more savvy! Critical daily attention to SEO and writing online content is now the gameplan to maintain an acute, competitive edge – and ensure your website content stands any chance of being returned in word search results.

All online marketing has been dependent on careful use of thoroughly researched keyword phrases but in social media world, you now need to remember to use keywords not only within your content, but also in your titles, and updates too! Blog and article writing require consideration of what is going to being included in updates, and the likelihood of sharing it via Facebook or Twitter, or another social network.

If the right keywords are in the title, then they are also more likely to appear in any Twitter feeds, Facebook updates, etc. A search for those keywords, will increase the chance of your content being found in a real-time search!

You need to be tuned-in to current hot news! Simply mentioning current events will put you directly into the word search results related to the topic, if the right keywords are included. Avoid being classed as ‘spam’ by providing authentic conversation and increase the opportunity to put yourself onto more potential audience radars.

The more conversations you are involved with, the more retweets (and equivalents on other networks) you are likely to get. And again, this means more responses in RealTime searches. Developing legitimate followers takes time and is based upon encouraging confidence. Provide useful, relevant and genuine content that people will link to and it will spread virally.

Therefore, it becomes even more important to provide clear CTAs in the form of ‘engagement’ to invite sharing the content. People can ‘Digg’ or’ Retweet’ a story with one simple click, and you’re one step closer to your site being found in a potential visitor’s real-time search.

RealTime search is about visibility. That means, you have to raise consumer awareness, get them responding by talking about your frequent content/updates – and thus, spreading your online brand message.

Social media by nature is viral. RealTime search is about putting content in chronological order. You have to keep people talking to stay relevant to ‘right now’ – so aiming to keep your website and online presence uppermost in your target market niche.
