Jeeves not getting enough from his state pension!
Most of the world is familiar with the legend which is Jeeves – the man with all the answers!
Ask.com have announced that this week the will be bring Jeeves back from retirement to star on their website once again some three years after retiring.
Jeeves has had a bit of a makeover including the addition of a third dimension and also even wearing a suit styled by Savile Row tailors Gieves & Hawkes.
With ask.com currently only holding on to around 2% of the world search market it hopes to try and establish a much better hold of the search engine world taking away from Google, Yahoo and MSN.
Jeeves won’t be part time either! When he’s not answering questions he will be on a viral marketing campaign for himself through the likes of Twitter and Facebook where he will be talking about his latest, funniest and best search ‘answers’.
A recent survey conducted showed that 72% of people canvased knew of the search engine brand which is currently ask.com whereas a larger 83% of people knew the Ask Jeeves brand and so hence the revival.
Jeeves is set for a few fancy tv appearances answering relevant questions during commercial breaks on topics relating to the tv show in the companies marketing efforts to increase awareness of the search engine.
