Cheshire web design – a growing industry

Just over 5 years ago Provoke’s founder; Daren Bach, left one of London’s top design agencies to set up in Cheshire. One question he still gets asked is why Cheshire?

5 years ago Cheshire wasn’t a hot spot of web site design, infact if anything it was the reverse. Obviously you have Manchester which like any major city has an array of specialist design companies. But Cheshire was somewhat of a poorer relative.

Yet Cheshire is home to some of the largest companies based within the UK, companies like Capital One, Astra Zeneca, Barclays and Fujitsu.

Daren felt that Provoke could establish itself in Cheshire as one of the top web design and online marketing companies, not only offering there services to the large corporates but to many of the successful companies that are operating out of Cheshire.

That was nearly 5 years ago and a lot has happen since then. The last few years have seen more web design companies establish themselves in Cheshire as well as seeing a lot of traditional design companies make the foray into digital marketing. All raising the profile of Cheshire web design.

This growth has benefited Cheshire businesses with more choice and competition the standards are constantly being raised. And with the move of the BBC’s Creative and Digital departments to Manchester’s Media City from London the future of website design and online marketing in both the Northwest and Cheshire looks very bright.
